We believe the spaces close to where people live often represent the most abused, under funded and misunderstood landscapes today.  These spaces are sanitised on the altar of perceived safety and security.  We believe the resulting environments and peoples’ undervaluing of them contribute to many of our society's key concerns. 

Our children need to play, our youth need to socialise and our elderly need convenient, attractive places to exercise, sit and talk. 

Our work promotes attractive, varied, useful spaces, meeting the common needs of all people in society and re-engaging communities.  This, we believe, is the single most important contribution we can make towards real improvement in our towns and cities
