Experience
After years of working in the City of London as a foreign xchange money broker, Matthew decided it was time for a new life and he retrained to become a landscape architect. This change in career has seen him obtain a Masters in Landscape Architecture from Greenwich University along with employment with Elwood Landscape Design, Parklife and Scape Design Associates before joining FHA. During this time Matthew’s work has ranged from detailed design to masterplanning, from hospitals and schools to exclusive hotel resorts.
Key Skills
Matthew is a talented designer who is keen to create positive solutions that can improve the fabric of our society. His interest in planting design along with his knowledge on the built environment combine to produce cohesive designs. He has managed projects from inception to completion and understands the importance of in depth consultation and dialogue with end users.
Interests
Matthew enjoys travel having lived in the Far East, Middle East and Australia. These experiences have made him understand the importance of social integration and tolerance. Matthew believes that the creation of good public open spaces go an enormous way to improving public relations and creating a richer social environment. He paints with oils to relax.
