work experience
Matthew graduated from the Unitec Institute of Technology in Auckland, New Zealand in 2003. Since then Matthew has worked for private landscape practices in New Zealand and in the UK. During this time he has worked on a variety of public space schemes, urban regeneration projects and business park developments. He has been involved in every stage of design and development including concept design, detailed design, on site project management and contract administration. He has also had experience in the completion of Environmental Impact Assessments.

Having completed a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree, and working in private practices on a diverse range of schemes, Matthew has developed a wide range of skills particular to Landscape Architecture. His key strengths are concept and detailed design as well as delivering projects on site. He has excellent free hand and computer graphics skills.

interests
Matthew is interested in producing high quality outdoor spaces, which are strengthened by principles of sustainable design. Central to his outlook is the idea that all sectors of society should have access to quality outdoor spaces for leisure, recreation and inspiration. He believes good design can achieve this. Matthew is passionate about travel and enjoys observing how other cultures approach their various natural and urban environments.
